So,
times are tough and every cent has to stretch tighter
than Berlusconi's forehead. If the dinner-and-drinks
plan is taking too large a bite from the budget, don't
panic: the Italian eat-all-you-can-drink tradition has
finally hit town. |
 |
This
Italian contribution to Western Culture - one more of
a long list that includes the Da Vinci Code, Al Pacino
and the Zamboni - can now be enjoyed in Barcelona spots.
Pay the drinks and feed on varied antipasti at no extra
charge, just like they do in Milano, home of the original
stuzzinichini snacks served with Vermouth.
So weather the crisis with a ciao and discover the
dolce vita of free tuck. It beats dumpster-diving, and
promotes the closeness the larger Mediterranean family.

 |
Now let's see if the example spreads to the native
tapa sector... and, while we wait, prego, another
Cinzano... and buon appetito!
