say that men's shorts must end at least six inches above
the knee. But vertically challenged parents have virtually
left me with stumps for legs, so lest I play in speedos
- skimpy ones - beach volley is pretty much ruled out
for me. |

For
the rest of you, though, that guarantees a lot of bare
skin this week - women's shorts aren't allowed to be
wider than seven puny centimeters at the side, either
- as they've turned Av. Maria Cristina into a giant
sandbox, where hot-bodied competitors will be battling
it out for Olympic qualification.
Yes, the brides have been chased out of town - the
blur of white that's Barcelona Bridal Week has been
relegated to Zona Franca this year - and in comes the
Beach Volley World Tour.
