I
usually react badly to change. For example, why did we
have to beat Italy the one time when I'd already made
plans for the day of the semi-final? And not that I hate
Lorenzo Milá, but did Felipe really need to take
Leti off the Telediario? |
 |
Admittedly,
there are times when change can be for the better, and
this week's programme switch at Cine Maldą is a case
in point. Replacing the scheduled The Lonely Man, is
Bruce Weber's eye candy masterpiece, Let's Get Lost.
Shot in Weber's trademark black and white style, made
famous through his ad work for Calvin Klein and Abercrombie
& Fitch, the documentary of good boy turned bad
jazz legend Chet Baker is screened in all its glory
with a newly restored print.
|
 |
The
night is hosted by CineAmbigł, but since its move
to Maldą - which has finally weened itself off
Bollywood and is now strictly indie art flicks
- it's put a halt on the booze and smoke. I told
you change is no good.
Let's
Get Lost - 20:15, 22:30 Wed June
