Where Did All The Gay People Go? |
 |
 |
 |
Life's full of contradictions. In a summer where Barcelona's supposed to be gayer than Top Gun, half of Gayxample is preparing to leave for Pride in Madrid next week. If the bars are empty, it's because the rest are cruising online. |
 |
Yes,
for all the mega events lined up for the summer - starting
with the gay
coppers and Fire
next Wednesday and culminating in two pink-hued weeks
of Eurogames,
Loveball
and Circuit
in August - our gay scene is looking a bit limp and
in need of one of those blue pills or two. Vacation
party spot, perhaps, but the locals aren't buying it.
There's obviously only one thing to do: Call in the
straights. Which is exactly what Dancing Queen, the
'hetero-friendly' gay festival, is doing. As its headline
act it's even called in Jason Donovan who, you may remember,
is so straight that he once successfully sued The
Face (RIP) for daring to question his manliness.
