Suggesting
a night at Montjuïc will inevitably produce a number
of different responses, from my mum saying that she's
already seen the Magic Fountain to death, to my friend
Carlos who will squeal that somebody nicked his wallet
the last time he went cruising there. |
|
As
for myself, with museums and restaurants only open during
the day, my nightly excursions have been limited to
the odd check in on La Terrrazza or getting a grassy
bottom at the outdoor
cinema. In short, the essence of any response is,
why would you?
So the Ayuntamiento has put on Montjuïc de Nit
this Saturday - not too dissimilar to May's La Noche
de los Museos, except, of course, it's only on Montjuïc,
and you can do lots of other stuff, like taking a 2am
dip or seeing film projections. (That might explain
where all the giant screens were during the Euro 2008
final. Right.)
