Eyelids
feeling a bit heavy after lunch? The Sevillans can check
into a hotel for a four hour snooze. Why don't you
do the same? |
|
For
a second season, Seville's La Siesta promotion lets
you take a room - a decent one, with plenty of four
and five star hotels taking part - for the afternoon
for as little as EUR 20. But with an open mind, a quality
place to nap needn't cost much more here in Barcelona,
either.
Of course, now we're talking love hotels, but it no
longer has to be about coin-operated Jacuzzis and sticky
sheets, with the latest batch like Punt Catorze and
La Paloma (yes, your fave ballroom is now a love den)
carrying the signatures of Denys & von Arend (also
responsible for Axel
and Ciutat
de Barcelona) and Lázaro Rosa-Violán
(from Pulitzer
and Banys
Orientals). Check in and stay as long as you'd like
(you can't leave and come back though) from EUR 45.
