Tease |
|
|
|
It
was all there. The two chicks making out, Bardem's latin
lover impression, Penélope's Almodovar moments,
and Scarlett's wooden acting. And all that in the trailer. |
|
The
shots were beautiful, even if they made Barcelona look
like the provincial backwaters of Extremadura, but you
wonder how (or why) Woody Allen managed to stretch that
three minute trailer storyline into a full-length feature.
Which is exactly the premise behind Teaserland, a new
festival consisting solely of film trailers - because
some things are better kept short. And tease it does,
as the trailers - commissioned from established film
makers such as Isabel Coixet, Jaume Balagueró
and Jose Corbacho - are all fake, for imaginary movies.
|
|
Appropriately
Teaserland serves as a teaser itself, for the
upcoming Sitges Film Festival, and also welcomes
entries from the public for its open competition
section. So if you’ve ever wanted to make a sequel
to Glitter or Gigli, now is your chance. But please,
just the trailer.
Teaserland
- Now open for submissions. Sitges Film Festival
