Tots Movem

For me, the last bit of glamour associated with recreational drug use went up the nose of the girl I spotted doing lines off her T-10 on the 14 to Bonanova.

Doing a line is one thing - but please, not on a public bus. And definitely not off a T-10. If she was bussing it just because the limo didn't show, surely she'd only have bought a single. Can such wanton lack of flair be any further from the lifestyle of the rich and famous?

This week at least sees a bus service with a bit of style, thanks to the Semana de Arquitectura. As part of the week's many activities, which also include open houses at many of the city's design studios, the daily Arquibus will run via all of Barcelona's buildings that have won FAD awards.

Getting on a tour bus may not sound overly exciting - and judging by the bored faces of the Bus Turistic passengers taking in Barcelona, drive-by fashion, it usually isn't - but the architecture should be. Even without the help of stimulants off your T-10.

Arquiset Semana de Arquitectura - Oct 1-9
Arquibus - departure at 10am from Hard Rock Café
EUR 10 - book online or on 93 285 38 32
