Casual Mayfair with a French accent

This new Aubaine location makes perfect sense (was there ever more of a shopper's pitstop?) and, like its sibling restaurants, comes up trumps with alfresco seating in summer. The menu reads like a francophile diner, with excellent croissants and croque monsieur, and also lobster salad, steaks and burgers. A good one for girlie meet-ups.

Top Tip:

Start with Aubaine granola from the breakfast menu, which comes in a little Kilner jar with fruit and yoghurt on the side.

Breakfast: Mon–Fri 8am–12 noon. Brunch: Sat/Sun 8am–3pm.
