Louche and lovable Soho hotspot
You can't see into Spuntino from the street, which makes it an excellent place for a naughty brunch any day of the week. Reservations are a no-no, but if you queue and cross your fingers you might get the double love bench, aka Seat 18. This is comfort food central: Dutch baby (thick pancakes with crème fraîche), truffled egg toast, steak and eggs or, rather sweetly, boiled egg and soldiers. Great service.
Top Tip:
Go alone and you'll be bound to get a place.
