Laax is a bit of the new kid on the block. Host to numerous events including the annual Brits and the Burton Euro Open, as well as being the Swiss mountain choice for boarders, Laax is definitely a bit rock n roll. Gondola service is also great here, meaning you shouldn't have to spend your day queuing. All the glitz comes at a price though; locals often complain about the high cost of living, incurred through all the eating out and partying, but that's the price you pay for a good time. And it's still no Gstaad.
