The only club A-listers plump for when they wish to unveil their new squeeze or announce their post-rehab relapse, Cuckoo sits on Swallow Street on the former site of Piers Adams' Stork Rooms. Set across two floors, the first with a disco-style dancefloor and the ground a dusky bar complete with colour-rotating ceiling, this is the only West End boozer within which any self-respecting debutante would choose to go astray.

Special nights: Live Music on Thursdays with Jackson Scott, membership not required on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
