A little rusty, a bit worn, a touch scruffy - but then aren't we all these days? - The Social is the baby of Heavenly Records, and thus draws some interesting nights for discerning musos. Upstairs is a speakeasy style bar, serving comfort food aplenty, while downstairs is a dance-cum-drinking space, with ample seating and some truly reasonable cocktails.

Hours:Mon-Wed. noon-midnight. Thurs/Fri. noon-1am. Sat. 1pm-midnight
Cover: Free, except for special events £5-10.

Food: Sandwiches, salads, cold platters and pies served until closing.
