Twenty years ago it would have been impossible to foresee that a disused working men's club could become home to London's sharpest charlatans and cutting edge club nights, but today this rusty club, cafe and performance space hosts the crème de la crème of cabaret and retro pastiche - impromptu hosts include London School of Striptease and Hip Hip - this is, after all, where the legendary Whoopee Club cut its teeth.
