One of the chicest pitstops this side of Clerkenwell, $Grills (as it's often abbreviated to) sits across two floors - the first a restaurant, the lower a womb-like space complete with snugs and alcoves, emblazoned with striking murals. As the name might suggest, the emphasis is on great American food and fine cocktails although, thankfully, there's hardly a Yank in sight.
