One of Islington's more exclusive hideaways, Anam's billed as 'London's first Irish cocktail bar', though don't let that put you off. Bijou, beautiful and totally intimate, it's pretty as a petal and the cocktails - designed by Tony Coniglaro - are inspired. Anam has gorgeous red leather interiors and clever features such as uplighting from the floor and plasma screens - and an inspired crowd to match.
