Coricancha

Tasty Peruvian-Japanese cuisine by the owners of Blue Marlin

There’s no shortage of variety when it comes to restaurants in Ibiza, but add Coricancha to your list of go-tos when you’re feeling meat or tapas-ed out. The menu features Nikkei dishes – that’s Japanese Peruvian fare for newbies – that are packed with flavour, yet relatively light. Start with ceviche (there are seven varieties) and anticuchos (an Amazonian snack of meat or veggies on skewers) before moving on to dishes such as sea bass wrapped in banana leaf with coconut, courgette, cactus, corn and mint, carob-glazed pork ribs with pickled fennel and rosemary or chargrilled octopus. The views of the Salinas salt flats are pretty spectacular, too.

Top Tip:
It’s super close to Ibiza airport – so check if your flight’s delayed, and if it is, stop off here for a pre-flight meal. It definitely beats Burger King. It’s also a great pre- DC10 choice.
