Sad to see the warm weather go? There’s still time to get your summer fix and shake off that autumn ‘back to school’ feeling with a last-minute White Isle summer fling. Ibiza in September is all about the heartfelt closing parties where you’ll find some of the best line-ups all season. The mood is dewy and already nostalgic for all the fun that’s been had and that makes the good times all the sweeter. It’s also the perfect time for keeping a low profile – this is when long-term Ibizaphiles like to mooch around the island absorbing the last of the good summer vibes saving it all up for one or two really memorable big nights. To help choose yours here’s our pick of the best coming up as well as another entrancing podcast from our favourite island DJ Marcello and an extended Q&A with El Chiringuito owner Jonathan Thorogood. Til next time!

Something for seafood lovers to boast about

It might be just fifteen minutes from San Antonio, but the scene at newly-opened Cala Bassa Beach Club is a world away from the craziness of San Antonio town. Top Barcelona chef, David Reatres, oversees the kitchen at Cala Bassa which offers three dining options, ranging from a full menu of contemporary Iberico dishes using locally sourced produce at the restaurant, to a quick beachside snack from the shack. It's also the perfect spot to watch the sun go down with a cocktail in hand.

Try the unique fish dish Raones; little goldfish look-alikes that only swim in the Balearic waters for a few weeks of the year. Enjoy them at our favourite restaurants Sa Caleta and Es Torrent in Ibiza or Juan y Andrea in Formentera.
