Once upon a time in a land not that far, far away from Chalk Farm, there was a group of photographers, writers and designers who decided to start a magazine about fairy tales. Each issue of 'Tales' was full of poems, paintings, and illustrations created as a response to a particular story. |

Having explored the saga of why it's best not to be a victim of fashion in The Emperor's New Clothes, and the fable of why it's best to keep your barnet short in Rapunzel, the team has now turned its attention to the well-known children's morality tale of Hansel and Gretel. The moral of which is of course never enter a house made of Licorice All-sorts. To celebrate the arrival of issue three, the supernatural beings behind 'Tales' are releasing their magical powers at a party in Reliance Court, Shoreditch. Their predilection for all things elf and witch-like might be in danger of attracting hordes of goths, but with a soundtrack full of hip hop, bootlegs and rock from the likes of Jo Whiley favourites Great Days of Sail, it’s unlikely. In fact the three-day event is predicted to finish with everyone having a royal knees-up and living happily ever after. The end.
