Maida Vale boozing

Word on the street - well, the west London street - is that Graze is the new black when it comes to grazing and drinking.

It's an eighties-band style re-launch - this place used to be the Otto Dining Lounge.

Brought to you by the team who own 1 Lombard Street and noble rot. (which is creatively but ultimately annoyingly spelled with a full stop), Graze has an eclectic anytime-anywhere menu, served in both restaurant and bar, delivering such delights as the signature dish of Herdwick Mutton with Lavender Sauce and pumpkin roulade with orange-flower water.

The cast list feels like a movie: Jamie Grainger-Smith, General Manager, established Fifteen with Jamie Oliver; Head Chef Sebastien Gagnebé is ex-La Trouvaille, and the whole acquisition/revamp was masterminded by Søren Jessen, Oliver Peyton's main backer at The Atlantic Bar and Grill.

It's people watching to the max, has a great cocktail list, a pretty impressive wine list, and is open till 1am most nights. Maybe now all the Maida Vale yummy mummies will have something to do other than stroll up and down with their buggies. You wish.
