Everyone knows about Topshop's nice little number with some of London's freshest fashion talent: Designers knock up a TS diffusion line, this gets lunged on by the fashion press, which in turn gets that o-so-hip designer name out there - everyone's a winner. Past in-store mini ranges have been created by the likes of Sophia Kokosalaki, Preen, Jonathan Saunders, Emma Cook, the list goes on... |

And the concept is not only exclusive to TS girls, Topman have also got in on the act with the likes of Kim Jones working his name amongst those style savvy males. Following in his footsteps this month is a new collection from Lebanese-born Ziad Ghanem. Think casual shapes covered in plenty of witty Ziad-esque prints. Word is that his first collection for the mega chain almost didn't see the light of day. Ziad fell seriously ill and was checked into St Mary's hospital after a particularly heavy festive season. You can't hold a good man down, so to speak, and a determined Ziad continued selecting models for his Topman campaign from the glamorous surroundings of his hospital bed still hooked up to drips, tubes an all.
