EPoint where?

Whilst this site was conceived to point out places of interest that might otherwise be overlooked by the hierarchy of lifestyle publishing, we didn't realize that it was an art experiment.

That was until we found out about the 'Yellow Arrow' venture. The American
Founders describe it as a "global public art project of local experiences" that in reality involves people putting big yellow arrows and leaving messages all around major cities to point out previously ignored places of interest or forgotten landmarks. Even mundane objects such as curiously shaped fire hydrants get equal attention.

Which is a lot more fun that visiting your local Tourist Information Office or traipsing round the worlds metropolitan centre's missing everything noteworthy cause you've got your head stuck in a dog-eared A-Z, or are purposefully barging past leisurely commuters.

Having already spread across the globe to Denmark, Germany, Australia and Brazil it's due to hit London soon. So don't be surprised to find that your favourite best kept secret, whether your local Venezuelan delicatessen or graffitied bit of fence, proudly boasting an arrow.

Admittedly it's a great concept, but I'm concerned that it might be too successful. As it could lead to the demise of sites like these, and that would mean my redundancy!
