Bad Santa
Santa run wild

Ever dreamt of donning a red and white two-piece with fun fur trimmings and roller-skating through Wales?

Me neither.

Santacon is a 'celebration of being Santa and the spirit of Christmas involving a seasonal spree around tinsel town'. Cymru? Tinsel town? Puh-lease. Check out the website - there's 'exclusive' film footage, really. Or the real thing, which takes place tomorrow, for all you Bad Santas out there.

Slightly more appealing, if only to witness the prowess of the capital's eight-wheel aficionados, is the London skate on Sunday. An array of Serpentine Road regulars will glide through London dressed as, well, you know now, I think. Let's hope no one gets hurt as they 'skob' through shopping emporia such as Trocadero and my neighbouring Whiteleys.

Accompanied by the LondonSkate sound system and a wicked Christmas mix up, whatever that means, a donation, set at £10, includes your very own Santa suit
which is yours to keep and wear for the 'right Christmas knees up at favourite skaters' pub, The Victoria'.

The 'must do street skate event of the year' should be a good spectacle, albeit a somewhat Lynchian one at that.
