Fashion Week. To most, means endless, naffly themed parties at Elysium, Trap and their likes - built on the promise of a boney fourteen year old model making an appearance in between lines (not this year they say!) and flushing dinner down the loo. Nice. As for the real action, it's difficult for anyone who isn't in the Industry to get a closer look. |

TGF Urban Junkies then (cheap, we know), as this season, we're running the Boutique at On|Off, held at the Royal Academy of Arts, where several of the London Fashion Week shows are held, selling covetable catwalk creations at reduced prices. This is a unique chance to get a first hand glimpse of London Fashion Week (and possibly La Wintour's bob, if rumour serves correct) as it's accessible to readers and open while catwalk shows are going on. Up for grabs is a mix of established London Fashion Week staples like Bérubé, Jean-Pierre Braganza and Jessica Ogden, as well as unique accessories designers (look out for new kids, Romanzin the Stone) and luxe lingerie lines, like State of Undress (beautiful prints!). We'll also be selling designer furniture, fabulous homewares, music, art... I could go on (more complete list on microsite). So bag a bargain, catch a glimpse, have a cocktail, without having to blag a clipboard. Now, there's a novel thought.
