AA Revisited
Drink up

From Alcoholics Anonymous to the oh-so-British Automobile Association, those 2 little AAs seem to stand for a hell of a lot.

As per usual at Urban Junkies we aren't referring to any of those, but to a Mr & Mrs AA, also known as Antoni and Alison.

This renowned twosome have been doing their thing on the fashion circuit for years, injecting lorry loads of wit and general quirkiness along the way.

Remember those vacuum-packed t-shirts, well, that was their idea, along with unexpected arty combos that somehow work - sequined sausage anyone?

Antoni & Alison have often used photography as a form of inspiration and now they are kindly giving all and sundry the chance to check out their snaps within the intimate walls of their own home.

Of course, the A&A residence is no ordinary place. Located in Southwark, it dates back to the 1820s and will no doubt offer a little insight into the designers' creative bubble.

On show are 40 photographs edited from the past ten years - an A&A retrospective of sorts. The display throws up a few kitsch gems that fashion fans will easily recognize, along with some yet-to-be-seen works.
