There's nothing like good old sibling rivalry to bring on a design duo and right now in creative land, blood has never been slicker. |

Earning their seats (their Favela, Corallo or Jenette classics perhaps) are big brothers The Campanas. Having set the standard with their innovative use of rubber, rope and the odd cuddly toy (check out their Banquete creation) the next generation of siblings are following suit. Hot on their heels - quite literally - with their liquid metal genius are Based Upon twins Ian and Richard Abell, while over at Vitamin, Chris and Andy Vernall, brothers beyond the ordinary, are fast becoming known for their ceramic urban gnomes and self-watering plants. And creating family ties as well as top notch acrylic furniture are BrotherSister's Ben Wilson and Niku Banaie who prove in-laws can do it, too. But it's sister act Val and Vanda Heng-Vong who prove homeware truly is where the heart is at French boutique aimé. Childhood skiing snaps hang next to mobiles by Atelier LZC and there are enough shoes to share forever... Ah, the design world - just one big happy family.
