Oh, they love a collaboration, the cool set. No sooner has one of them had a clever idea than all their über-cool friends get stuck in, too - and if it involves food, fashion, design, performance, art, and has a bit of a guerilla edge to it, the more the better. The Reindeer is the clever idea of Pablo Flack & David Waddington (of Bistrotheque fame) and luckily these boys are not short of a few cool friends. |

A temporary 'pop-up' theatre (23 days only!) and restaurant designed to keep cabaret-lovers and fine-dining fans entertained over the Christmas period, The Reindeer will certainly add a distinctly contemporary edge to the festive season. Normally more at home designing frocks, Giles Deacon has been brought on board to spruce up the crockery used in the restaurant, while accessories wonder Katie Hillier and POP magazine editor Katie Grand have turned their talents towards Christmas crackers and decorations - all of which will be sold in The Reindeer Shop. Two log cabins, that act as private dining rooms, will be decked out by ultra hip artist Donald Urquhart (witty monochrome) and illustrator Jasper Nielson (Swedish Victoriana). Brilliantly named and talented Tom Collins, head chef at Bistrotheque, will be in charge of the kitchen. And we haven't even got to the entertainment yet.
Known for bringing the world (well, Hackney at least) Tranny Lip-Synching
and A Night Of A Thousand Jay Astons, Flack and Waddington have a lot
to live up to and, so far, it doesn't sound like they'll disappoint. |

Everyone's favourite trolley dolly Pam Ann will be serving up her usual inflight meal of caustic comedy, and cult avant-garde band The Tiger Lillies will be theatrically thrashing their way through their own brand of gypsy/punk-tinged songs. And you thought Christmas was boring. The Reindeer
