Forget about the Polo jokes. Don't even think about the ones with the dogs. And please, no phone boxes or shower cubicles. Ethiopia might not be at the top of the table when it comes to the world grid of national lifestyle PR, but its cuisine is totally now. |

Because anyone tired of the tried and tasted haute cuisine palate can check all their food vogue dietary boxes at Tobia. For starters Ethiopian is very, very light. It's
almost all nutritious and virtually fat free. Everything is shared and
tapas style: you order a number of plates and then the waitress brings
out a ginormous pancake called an injera, upon which you make your own.
It's gluten-free and absolutely delicious, there's even Ethiopian sushi,
too. For further dietary sensitivities, Wednesdays and Fridays serve
predominantly vegan food. |

The only slight obstacle is the décor - in not modernising their gastronomy, the Abyssinian crew stay right on target, however the über patterned rugs and peach blossom walls will have to be sympathetically overlooked. Tobia |
