For many Londoners, the serving up of random acts of rudeness is a favourite activity. I'm thinking in particular of the new breed of racing bus drivers, gruff old taxi drivers, moronic station attendants, all staff in 'funky' sports stores, most waiters/ actors (unless they're rehearsing a 'nice' role), and white van men. |

If, however, your wont is to run around the city 'killing' people with random acts of kindness, then tomorrow's Cruel 2 B Kind game in Soho could be right up your Dean Street. Essentially it's one of these games where individuals,
or groups, run around trying to spot each other first, and then 'kill'
each other by saying stuff like 'I love your shoes', before the other
poor unfortunate can so much as chirp up with a 'What awfully white
teeth you have'. As you do. |

The victim then joins the killer's gang and, by the sound of it, the more people you kill, the more conspicuous you become. After all, a gang of 20 people running around shouting 'Your Mum's the nicest Mum in London, she is!' is bound to attract attention even in this strange city. Isn't it? Cruel 2 B Kind - hitting Soho Saturday December 9. Sign-in starts at 3pm , game starts at 3:30pm, ends at 5pm. Wander around Soho looking suspicious during that time for random acts of kindness to happen to you. Weird. |
