We at UJ have been speaking a lot about wine tours in France lately. We want to go on them, but basically can't figure out how to do them our way. |

The tours we've found seem either too hand-held, or too long, too expensive or too serious - and then we found Brendan Moore, the British-born, Chablis-residing, Burgundy-specialising, wine guru. Moore offers tailor-made tours (couple of hours to a couple of days) that give you as much or little help as you need on your wine tasting journey. As a Brit, who's been living in the region for over 25 years - as well as being a wine consultant/expert for the last 15 - it's safe to say you'll be in good hands with Mr Moore. And not only when it comes to the tasting; Brendan knows of and can organise great dining spots, air-conditioned cars for transport (essential) and offers hotel recommendations, local history and insider knowledge. And as you've probably read already, there's serious
hype around 2005 wines - supposedly wines of '05 are the best they've
been in 20 years - and, rumour has it, that these wines will be completely
gone in less than two months. |

So if you have any hope of getting your mitts on a case (or ten), seems like now's the time to cross the channel and fill up the car. With wine. EXCLUSIVE
