Hogarth
You're running out of time to see the Hogarth exhibition at Tate Britain, and Sunday is the perfect day - after a weekend of debauchery it can be quite comforting to realise 18th century London was far more hedonistic. His paintings seem strikingly modern in their depiction of drunken and bawdy behaviour, brothels, and crime alongside drawings, engravings, and etchings depicting London life both high and low. Works by living contemporary artists inspired by Hogarth are also on display, including Yinka Shonibare and Paula Rego.

Time:
10am-5:50pm Mon-Fri
9.30am-7pm Sat-Sun
Until April 29.
Place:
Tate Britain, Millbank, SW1
Cost:
£7.
