Festival Ready
Wellies

God, festivals. I can't think of a worse way to spend a weekend; I don't know how you kids do it: getting filthy, consuming copious amount of hallucinogens, sleeping - sometimes even shagging - in tents. What is the point, people?

But if you must, you must. Though we would prefer - since we like watching festivals from the safety of the sofa - you made a little more effort while you're there. If Scarlett Johansson's stylized look at the Coachella Music festival is anything to go by, the patchouli oil and braids of summer concert's yester-year have been replaced by lip gloss and blow-outs.

And with England's outdoor musical circuit already kicked off in Somerset, Glastonbury is just around the corner. UJ gives you the must have products to keep you looking good:

1) Dermalogica Skin Purifying wipes
Face it, running water is not a reality in the grasslands. With these terribly easy-to-use wipes, you can give yourself a quick, save-your-skin fix before passing out.
Available at The Garden Pharmacy £11.75

2) Elemis SOS Tea Tree Spray
Summer + the English countryside = Mosquitoes. Keep unsightly red bumps at bay at bay with this multi-purpose Australian spray; anti-bacterial, it’s a quick germ eliminator, and triples as a toner for those with enough energy for a two-step cleansing routine.
Available at Debenhams & John Lewis, £17.00

3) Janina Opale Liquid Toothpaste Spray
You've pulled the lesser-known but hotter bassist of the Artic Monkeys. Don’t let stale beer and cigarette breath get in the way of a life-changing Penny Lane moment. This clever pocket-size, no-brush toothpaste is a clinically proven, legit replacement for the real thing; no spitting or brushing involved, just swish and smooch.
Available at Boots, £6.99

4) Emergen-C Vitamin fizzing drink mix
Surface treatments only offer so much revival if you neglect your inner health. Avoid the medical tent and a reputation as a not quite rock-n-roll enough lackey by downing a packet of this 'super energy boosting', 32 vitamins and mineral-infused powder.
Available at Fresh & Wild £0.55p

5) Kiehls Lip Balm SPF 15:
Bless the thought of lip-synching to Lily Allen with blazing sunshine upon your face. However, all that enthusiasm can lead to a cracked and un-kissable pucker. This SPF take on the cult classic uses sweet almond and wheat germ oil to keep you in the soft.
Available at Selfridges or Kiehls - Covent Garden, £8.50

6) Stila Lash Visor Mascara
Aside from being fresh, we girlies need to look, well girlie. While natural is the goal, it shouldn’t be ignored that a bat of long, lush lashes is often enough to ensure access to the VIP area.
Available at Liberty, £11.00
