Kensington is almost getting cool. After years of being run by the pink pashmina brigade (give it up, girls!), the SW7 nightlife in is actually getting some serious accolades. |

At Boujis, Kate Middleton is giving the paps a run for their money by flinging herself at anyone with double-barrelled name. And Boutique 60 - which used to be populated by middle-aged Euro-trash - has recently hosted the likes of L Lo, Paris Hilton and Sienna Miller. Now there's a new addition to the fray. Chloe, a private members bar, is housed in the former Firehouse on Cromwell Road. Named after Chloe Delevigne, the "society beauty" who is coincidentally the fiancée of executive director Louis Buckworth, the venue is clearly keen to create a new Annabel's for the current smart set. All members will be greeted at the door by the Chloe butler, and Leo, the concierge will ensure all members', ahem, needs are met. Situated on three floors, the club includes an upstairs restaurant,
atrium/bar area and downstairs lounge with a clubby Victorian feel throughout.
Early reviews are looking good, especially for the restaurant owned
by Alexander Baillieu. |

Look out for the giant saltwater fish tank separating the plebs from the VIPs, which includes Jeroboams of Belvedere for the fish to dart around. May not be the most exciting re-vamp of the year, but we've always liked this multi-tasking venue and as it's been a bit stale of late, a new direction is always welcome. Chloe
