Then there was the temporary restaurant (The Reindeer) and member's bar (Soho House LA), and now there's the mobile hotel - and we're not talking about camper vans. The brainchild of a pair of Swiss installation artists, The Everland hotel is a roving one-room 'hotel', that acts as a museum by day - meaning people will be peering in, in the spirit of 'interactivity' - and room with a view by night. Here you'll find the same modern cons as in any design abode - king
size bed, lounge, fluffy towels - as well as a stocked mini bar that's
included in the price (we hope this catches on), and breakfast in bed. |

The concept is unique, but it's the locations - its home for the past year has been on the roof of the Museum of Contemporary Art Leipzig, and at the end of this month, it's taking up residence on the roof of Palais de Tokyo, in Paris - that are the real draw. All in all, this sounds like one installation we'd definitely like to check into. The Everland
