The newest (and shiniest ever) edition of The Illustrated Ape magazine takes as its leitmotif the agreeable subject of travel. This is handy, since at the moment, everybody is desperate to get away from something. This is definitely NOT an ordinary travel magazine though - instead, it offers you a journey for your mind.

As the name suggests, The Illustrated Ape magazine is covered, quite literally, from front to back with illustrations but it also features a lot of 'fiction, photos, poetry and pop.' Published quarterly, the magazine aims to showcase '100% original talent only.'

The magazine is unlike any other in that it is totally unpredictable and truly democratic. The entire publication consists of work submitted by the readers so you never know what might find its way in there. The current issue contains everything and anything from illustrations of wild beasts dancing across the page to stories about 'how to lose your way.'

It's hard not to be drawn into Ape World, so don't be afraid, just enter.
