Pistols at Dawn
Perhaps not faster than his own shadow, but Tommy's pretty fast
If you wake up every morning looking more bad head than bed-head, then a trip to your nearest Tommy Guns hair salon could provide you with all the teasing and titillation that you desire. The Designer Warehouse Sale has crammed its space with Nicole Farhi mens and womenswear this weekend. Stock up on both Spring and Winter gear. £2 entry. Opens today at 10am-8pm. Until Sunday. The Worx, 45 Balfe St, N1.

Tommy Guns is a collective of talented hair stylists brought together from some of London’s most renowned salons, Vidal Sassoon and Toni & Guy among them. Located on Beak Street in Soho and now open on Charlotte Road in Shoreditch, the salons are relaxed, laid back and totally friendly.

Upon arrival you'll be invited to kick back with an Absolut vodka cocktail, a beer or a cappuccino then you'll be given a good seeing to, before leaving, in less than hour, entirely satisfied and (hopefully) grinning from ear to ear.

You could be forgiven for mistaking the hair salons for bars, as inside, the soft leather chairs sit comfortably with neon signs and coquettish photographs by Bianca Williams hang seductively across the walls.

Tommy Guns stylists frequently moonlight as hair stylists for pop promos, editorial and commercials so make like a model and pout. Recent work includes shoots for Vogue, Sleeze Nation, Tank and Dazed & Confused so this is your chance to get all fired up and work it like the cover of a magazine.

Friday Late View at the V&A sees the opening of Unpacking Design: Matali Crasset amidst tunes of DJ Jan, bar and food. The former head designer for Philippe Starck puts her own quirky designs on display tonight until 10pm. Free. Cromwell Road, SW7.

Perhaps a tad weird, but undeniably sensational: Obermeier and Haring fuse light and video technology with dance to produce Vivisector at the Purcell Room this weekend. £12. 8pm. RFH, Belvedere Rd, SE1.
