Peep, an exhibition of sketches by Natasha Law (big sister of Jude), opens today at the seriously trendy Space Gallery on Eccleston Street. Focusing on themes of voyeurism and erotica, the series of drawings features women, well, in their pants. A photographer by trade - her portrait of Jude and his panty-designer wife Sadie Frost hangs in the National Gallery - this is Law's second solo exhibit of her art. Her sensual line drawings of the female form are sure to convince you that talent runs in the Law family. Stark, yet seductive, the images recall rushed sketches of nude models in art class, but somehow betray their subjects' tender vulnerability. Definitely worth the visit. Especially for those lads who feel they've outgrown their bedroom wall hangings. Law's sketches may be the perfect artistic alternative to those fraying Penthouse centerfolds. Peep by Natasha Law - May 14-30 EC |
