If like me, you quickly tire of your record collection and aren't that interested in manufactured pop, then look no further than Smallfish Records. This tiny shop on Old Street sells a whole range of interesting and varied music on both vinyl and CD. |

Smallfish describe their music collection as a mixture of "anything from electronic based musings to folky affairs with twisted psychedelic edges". If all this sounds good to you then visit their website, www.smallfish.co.uk where you can order online. If you prefer to get down and dirty on some decks before making a purchase, then pop into the Smallfish store to play. It's open seven days a week and has several late nights so there's no excuse for not paying them a visit. About once a month, Smallfish also have a live set in the shop. (Details of the next one can be found on their website.) They invite you to "come along, bring a beer, bring a friend and have fun". Sounds good to me. Smallfish Records, www.smallfish.co.uk RP |
