At, last! Conran's Grand Café and Bar opens today in the suitably grand surroundings of the Royal Exchange shopping plaza. The restaurant is set to serve sophisticated seafood such as rock oysters and lobster panini whilst The Mezzanine Bar has champagne buckets moulded into the tables and offers great cocktails such as the Breakfast Martini – perfect for a mid-morning treat. The fifth floor of the building will also become home to a Conran restaurant at the beginning of autumn. But with so many distractions, how is anyone going to get any work done? Royal
