Here at UJ, we're big fans of kitch. And you can't get more kitch than old movies. Sick of the tired old rom-coms constantly flogged at every local Blockbuster? A shop called Today is Boring aims to offer something a little out of the ordinary for your nights in. |

The Design Museum finally goes properly online. Their shop stocks the cream of the crop of modern design and can now be accessed through the web. | |||
Located in fashionable Shoreditch (where else?) the shop, which resembles a 70s rec room, stocks an assortment of the best classic, and hard-to-find movies on Video and DVD. Looking for "Happiness", that movie your actor friends keep banging on about? Boring has it. As well as a variety of indie flicks and sought-after classics to make you seem movie savvy at the next industry soiree. The best part: membership cards are a reproduction of the Canadian owner's Niagara Falls student card, and you get to choose which student photo you'd like from the yearbook. I always wanted to be a cheerleader. Today is Boring EC |
