Eating and drinking is always more fun when you do it with company. Not only do you get to hang out with your friends, but you also get to sample their order. With the principle of sharing in mind, a new bar has opened in Kensington. |

Opal bar, located directly below L'Etranger restaurant, serves cocktails that four to eight people can drink at the same time. Dorien Price (of the Atlantic Bar and Grill) mixes usual hits like Lychee and bubbly, as well a number of new concoctions, created especially for Opal. Continuing with the 'sharing is caring' theme, Opal's bar menu serves platters for twos and fours. The food is described as 'French with a subtle Indochina influence', which translates practically into Caviar with sour cream, Terrines of Foie Gras and a selection of Dim Sum, sashimi platters and tempura. The only problem is, everything tastes so good, you won't want to share it! Opal - Opens September 3 RP |
