Daliesque
Daliesque in Covent Garden

Salvador and Amanda is a bar with a story to tell.

With a plot based on the friendship between crazy, floppy egg obsessed artist, Salvador Dali and dubiously gendered American model, Amanda Lear, the Covent Garden venue is the new jewel in The Breakfast Groups' crown of bars and restaurants including gems such as The Social and Jerusalem.

Mingle with the fashion set. We have two pairs of tix to Voyage's very hush-hush LFW speak-easy at their store. Secret password & entry to first two emailing us the name of the brother and sister running Voyage on 50-51 Conduit St, W1. Then go join the beautiful crowd for cocktails.
Another Drop in & draw at the V&A tonight. 7-8:30pm. Museum open till 10pm. Cromwell Rd, SW7. Free.

Occupying the space vacated by The Saint, design has been kept traditional, with revolving banquettes and a gallery of snapshots, to create a moody taste of mainland Spain.

As one might expect from a Spanish style bar, the food is Tapas - traditional on the Salvador menu and a more transatlantic flavour on Amanda's - and the drinks free flowing.

Not to cast aspersions on the drinking habits of a nation, but we all know the Spanish enjoy a liquid relaxer and the House Sangria should have you horizontal. If that isn't enough there's a whole menu of cocktails at about £6, including the Dali with Gin flavoured lemon sorbet whisked with Cava.

In celebration of their opening, Salvador and Amanda are offering free entry to Urban Junkies readers at any weekend over the next month. So if you fancy a bit of Balearic bacchanalia then simply print out this page and show it to the door staff.
