FINALLY, someone smartened up and realised it was time to import something a little more valuable than American socialites. Harrods, fine purveyors of everything, opens their Krisy Kreme concession in the Food Hall today. For those of you unfamiliar with the delectable confection, Krispy Kremes are the most superior of all the doughnuts family stateside. As usual, the London fashionistas were well ahead of the game. This year, Julian Macdonald presented boxes of Krispy Kremes to the top editors at his catwalk show. And, guess what, they ate them. Celebrate the beginning of Autumn with some deep-fried carbs.
