Flamboyant antipodean celebrity chef, Christine Manfield, brings her background of international awards, culinary teaching and food writing to the hotel's light and airy space. Previously resident chef at Sydney's much coveted Paramount restaurant, Manfield claims "life is too short to eat bad food". Well, now you don't have to. The restaurant will be open for lunch Monday to Friday from midday till 3pm (the reduced set menu is a bargain), while dinner hours run late, from Monday to Saturday, 5.30pm till midnight. If you fancy something a bit less formal, the lounge bar will be open from midday to 2am, where you can share trays of specially selected dishes complete with chopsticks. So you'd better start practicing with them now! East@West opens for business tomorrow |
