Rome never looked more stylish than when Anita Ekberg walked through that fountain, in that movie. And tonight, you too can have a touch of Italian glamour with an evening organised by La Dolce Vita. |
|
||
If the price of La Dolce Vita is a bit steep, then go visit the Fashion Market at Old Spitalfields Market where a hot mix of young designers sell directly. 10am-5pm. Brushfield Street, E1. Free.
Maharishi, Marc Jacobs and Paul & Joe at up to 85% off at the sample sale at Dray Walk Gallery. 11am-9pm. Old Truman Brwy, 91 Brick Lane, E1. 020 7770 6009.
This is a party with a difference. In addition to the champers and caviar (natch, darling), girlies get a personal appointment with Sloane Street designer Maria Grachvogel, and the boys get to spend some time with Italian tailor Ermenegildo Zegna. The best part is, you'll both walk away with bespoke creations to call your own. Limos will then take you to the swank nightclub AURA, where entertainment from stage show Rat Pack will transport you back to the 60s, while live performances from Blue and Liberty X will keep you firmly in the present. Although aging 60s icons are not guaranteed, Trafalgar Square fountains will be availalble to anyone brave enough to re-enact that scene. La Dolce
Vita party tonight in aid of Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund
and CLIC NC |
