Amidst the detox lists prescribing raw veggies and oddly coloured smoothies, I think I have finally found some good news: Vodka is healthy! Okay so it's not up there with H20, but as far as spirits are concerned, it's about as good as it gets. |

So clear, so light, so refreshing. This is one lifestyle adjustment I think I can handle. And in honour of this new found healthiness, what better way to celebrate than to experiment with a little flavouring - a vodka for every occasion if you will. 'Tis the season of leftovers, so put those extra fruits and spices to work. The below is a classic recipe for vodka infusion, but get creative!
Apricots, cherries, apples, vanilla beans, kiwi, pineapple, chocolates
(better in the vodka than your stomach) and even chillies can be used
to make great flavoured vodkas. Buy an interesting decanter and re-bottle
to give it a personalized touch. Let the infusing begin! |
