Why not be creative in the process? The Fashion and Textile museum, headed up by fashion guru Zandra Rhodes, has begun a Saturday knitting circle. Before you say no, think about the perks. You'll have reason to stay sober (knitting with Zandra dahling), be forced to see the light of day and may even acquire that hobby you've been meaning to find. Running from 1 to 5pm every other Saturday, the group is split into beginner and intermediate levels, with expert knitters on hand to help you when you drop a stitch. And at £4 for entry to the museum and the course, that's probably just within your January budget. |
