Another pop icon appears at the ICA tonight: Yoko Ono is giving a talk on herself and her upcoming art exhibition. 6:45pm. The Mall, SW1. £8. 020 7930 3647.
The boys will be a bit hotter and more glam than usual at Aura as new monthly boyz night Pout at Aura with Hed Kandi DJs launches. 9pm-3am. 48-49 St James Street, SW1. RSVP for guestlist.

Nothing new here you say, how many poppers-stenched gay dancefloors have already been violated by tragic trannies dressed as their idol wrapped in a microphone lead?

But this event is being held at London's artiest art centre, the ICA. The theme of the event is fandom, imitation and fantasy. But I say it's just a glorious excuse to relive some of the finest moments of popular music history.

Attendees will be invited to audition live with an impersonation of any Kylie song to be judged by art critic and deputy editor of Art Monthly Andrew Wilson, artist Jessica Voorsanger and a surprise guest. The winner will perform later in the evening.

I've already decided on my set, but have yet to aquire a Gingham French maids outfit, ironing board and Bardot wig (do you remember that one... genius!). I just wonder whether Valance, Scott Lee, Spears and not to mention Minogue Junior will be there - after all, they seem to be making quite a career out of impersonating her.
