Travel Guide
Shoot for a destination. Now covered by your Yuppie Manual*

So you’ve managed to get a table in the best restaurant in the hippest city… but it's next to the toilet. Not that impressive is it?

No one at home would need to know, but you would. Alas, there is a saviour to help you avoid such frighteningly awful social disgraces - Navigator* is here to show you around town.

Tate Britain opens landscape Pre-Raphaelite Vision: Truth to Nature monumental show. 10am-6pm. Millbank, SW1. £8.50. Book online.

Nine dazzling installations at V&A in Brilliant which display lights from Arad, Wanders & other world class designers. 10am-5:45pm. Cromwell Road, SW7. Free.

This new bi-annual urban travel guide has been launched by yuppie manual, Wallpaper*, and aims to give you those extra little nuggets of information, that you won't find in your standard Lonely Planet paperback.

The A4 magazine will feature ten different cities in each edition, providing a unique twist on the traditional city guide format. Once you've decided on your destination, you can go armed with the confidence of insider knowledge (shared now with only 50,000 others), as the magazine won't just state where to go out to eat and where to stay; it will also include advice on the best table and room to book.

Just don't expect to find information on the best booth available at KFC on Streatham High Road - 'cause that really would be social suicide.
