The world's gone mad. This is not one for the inconspicuous consumer. You can now buy a Gucci ice cube tray. After encouraging us all to carve a G into our pubic bushes, Mr Ford is now hoping that for the modestly priced sum of £45 we'll want to drop the same thing into our G&T's. |

Admittedly, I'd wager that there are a few people out there who'd like to get between the handsome devil's sheets, not to mention his sheared mink bed throws, but isn't this all going a little bit far? We could convince ourselves that the Gucci wallpaper could be lavished over our breasts (chimney or otherwise) with a dash of nouveau irony, but frozen drinks accessories seem more than a little bit daft. I personally didn't think that anyone took Wallpaper* - the magazine, not the wall covering - serious, with its preaching of aspirational living. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm quite happy with my 55p plastic ice bags from Woollies. But here's another suggestion, what about Gucci washing line pegs, eh Tom? |
